UGC NET Exam: Last Minute Tips to Clear it!

Schedule for UGC NET Exam Dec 2022 (Held in February 2023)

The UGC NET exam is conducted in two sessions – the June session and the December session. The exam for Dec 2022 cycle is starting on February 21. The exam is conducted in multiple shifts and on different days, depending on the subject chosen by the candidate. The exam consists of two papers – Paper I and Paper II. Paper I is common for all candidates, while Paper II is based on the subject chosen by the candidate.

The exam is conducted online, and the duration of the exam is three hours. Paper-I consists of 50 questions of two marks each, while Paper II consists of 100 questions of two marks each. There is no negative marking in the exam, and the candidates must score a minimum of 40% marks in each paper and an aggregate of 50% marks in both papers to qualify for the exam.
