The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is set to announce the much-awaited Class 10 and Class 12 board exam results next week, according to official sources.
This year, over 42 lakh students participated in the exams, which were conducted between February 15 and April 4, 2025. The results are expected to be released between May 11 and May 15, though the board has not yet confirmed an exact date.
Students can access their results on the official CBSE websites-cbse.gov.in, results.cbse.nic.in, and cbseresults.nic.in– by entering their roll number, school number, and date of birth.
Additionally, digital mark sheets will be available for download via DigiLocker and the UMANG app, providing a secure and convenient way for students to retrieve their academic records.
In line with its policy to discourage unhealthy academic competition, CBSE will not release a toppers list for either Class 10 or 12 this year. The board continues to follow a grade-based evaluation system, with A1 (91–100 marks) as the highest grade and E (below 33 marks) indicating a failing score.
Students and parents are urged to rely only on official CBSE portals for updates and to avoid falling for fake result notices circulating online. The announcement will mark the end of an anxious wait and open the next chapter for millions of students across India and abroad.
