NEET MDS 2025: The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) officially declared the NEET MDS 2025 results on May 15, 2025, ahead of the previously anticipated schedule.The NEET MDS 2025 exam was conducted on April 19, 2025, in a computer-based (online) format.
A total of 30,435 candidates registered for the exam, which serves as the entrance test for Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) admissions in the 2025-26 academic session.
NEET MDS 2025 Scorecard and Merit List Details
Candidates can check their individual scores (out of 960) and All India Rank (AIR) by logging into the official NBEMS website (natboard.edu.in) using their roll number and application ID.

The official scorecards will be available for download from May 23, 2025, and remain accessible for six months.

Cut-off Scores and Percentiles
The cut-off scores for NEET MDS 2025 have been released for all categories:
General/EWS: 50th percentile, 261 out of 960
SC/ST/OBC: 40th percentile, 227 out of 960
General/EWS-PwBD: 45th percentile, 244 out of 960
Only candidates scoring equal to or above the minimum cut-off percentile qualify for the entrance test.
Exam Pattern and Analysis
The exam consisted of 240 multiple-choice questions, divided into two time-bound sections:
Part A: 100 questions (75 minutes)
Part B: 140 questions (105 minutes)
Marking scheme: +4 for each correct answer, -1 for each incorrect answer, 0 for unattempted questions.
The difficulty level was reported as easy to moderate, with a higher proportion of clinical-based questions (around 60%) and a balanced distribution across all 17 topics in the syllabus.
The exam introduced time-bound sections, preventing candidates from reviewing or changing answers after each section’s allotted time.
Tie-Breaker Policy
In case of a tie in scores, the following criteria are applied in order:
Fewer incorrect answers overall
Higher score in Part B
Fewer wrong answers in Part B
Older candidate gets the higher rank
