Examinations are to be held from February 15, 2023; However, the timetable of examinations will be out soon.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) class 10 and 12 examinations will be held from February 15, 2023. For students who have been waiting a long time, the timetable for the Class 10, and 12 examinations will soon be accessible on the official website, cbse.gov.in.
According to the media reports, the timetable for the CBSE class 10th and 12 examinations will reportedly be made public this month. The report says that by November 20, 2022 the datesheet of class 12 will be made public. Once released, students, parents, and teachers would be able to download the detailed class 10, and 12 timetables from the official websitecbse.gov.in. This year over 34 lakh students have registered for the CBSE Class 10, and 12 Board Exams 2023.
Out of these, for class 10 about 18 lakh whereas for class 12 another 16 lakh students have registered. The board has already revealed the tentative procedures and schedules for the practical exams for schools with winter schedules. The affiliated schools finalised and submitted the LOC, or list of candidates, to the board in the month of July itself.
The dates for the practical exams for Classes 10 and 12 have also been made public by CBSE, and the exam will start on January 1 of 2023. In 2022, the board decided against term-based tests and returned to its annual test format. This year, the Board Classes 10 and 12 subjective test format would be used, with more multiple-choice questions and a bigger critical thinking portion.
The last two years were different due to the Covid pandemic and students had to face lot many problems to attend the examination. Not only the examination pressure but the pressure of getting infected with the Covid virus too made them scared. While the syllabus was not completed due to online classes. However, this time everything is back on track therefore the examination will be conducted on 100 percent syllabus. Though the board has given relief in the syllabus to students.
In the meantime, students and parents have been warned by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) about a fake datesheet that is being around on social media. The board declared that it would send official notices on the Class 10th and 12th datesheet to all concerned.
