This year too the examination will be held in two sessions
The National Testing Agency is expected to release the Joint Entrance Examination Main 2023 (JEE Mains 2023) dates this week.
According to media reports, the engineering entrance exam dates should be announced by November 30. The JEE Main 2023 will probably be conducted in two sessions this year, just like it was last year. In January and April of 2023, the engineering admission exam might be conducted. The registration period will likely open in the first week of December for the January 2023 session.
Two papers make up the Joint Entrance Examination, Main. The first exam, Paper 1, is for admission to B.E. and B.Tech programmes in undergraduate engineering at educational institutions like NITs, IIITs, other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs), and Institutions or Universities supported or recognised by participating state governments. This exam serves as a prerequisite for the JEE Advanced exam, which is conducted for admission to IITs. For admission to B. Arch and B. Planning programmes across India, Paper 2 is administered.
Filling out the online application form, providing the necessary files, and paying the application cost are all steps in the registration procedure for JEE Main 2023. A 10+2 (Class 12) pass certificate with Physics and Mathematics as required topics is the minimal requirement to apply for the exam.
Only candidates who meet the IIT JEE qualifying criteria will be able to apply for the NTA JEE Main 2023 exam. The JEE registration direct link will be available on the JEE Main official website shortly after the JEE notification 2023.
For the candidates’ benefit, the JEE Main was run in two sessions last year. As a result, the candidates who took the exam had two chances to raise their exam results. The first try also served as a means for the applicants to learn what to anticipate from the test. The two sessions also decreased the likelihood of failing a year, saving the candidates from losing an entire academic year. Though it is not necessary to attend both sessions. And if the candidates attend both sessions then the marks of their best performance of Main JEE NTA scores will be considered fot merit list.
